Fred Moosally is director of the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA). In July 2009, the Council of the District of Columbia confirmed him as ABRA's permanent director. He was confirmed to a second term on July 10, 2013. He previously served as the agency's general counsel for over seven years.
Throughout his career, Moosally has been devoted to public service. As ABRA director, he is committed to outstanding customer service, strong enforcement of ABC laws and technological innovations within the agency. After earning a Bachelor of Science in political science and history from James Madison University in 1992, Moosally received his law degree from Catholic University in 1997. Moosally has resided in the District since 2002 and currently lives in Ward 3.
