The Alcoholic Beverage Control Board (Board) is seeking public comment on its proposed rulemaking that would make changes to several chapters of Title 23 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations. Affected chapters include 1-3, 5, 7-10, 12, 13 and 15-17. Complete details are available in the Board’s Technical Amendment Notice of Proposed Rulemaking.

Members of the public can provide written comments on the proposal, which will be made a part of the Board’s official record. Copies of written statements should be submitted to ABRA General Counsel Martha Jenkins no later than 5 pm on Friday, October 27, 2017. Submit comments by:

• Emailing: Include full name, title, and organization, if applicable, of the person(s) testifying in the email); or
• Mailing: Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration, 2000 14th Street, NW, Suite 400 South, 4th Floor, Washington, DC 20009.

The Board is also holding a hearing to receive comment on the proposal on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.
