Temporary Licenses

Overview

Permits the sale, service, and consumption of alcohol at a public event such as banquets, weddings, picnics, bazaars, or fairs lasting between one (1) to four (4) days.

There are two classes of Temporary License:

  • Class F: Permits the sale and service of beer and wine.
  • Class G: Permits the sale and service of spirits, beer and wine.

Under a temporary license, a licensee may receive deliveries from a wholesaler up to 48 hours before an event occurring on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday. The alcoholic beverages delivered may not be consumed until the event and must be stored in a secure location.

Eligibility

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Board Orders and Settlement Agreement terms apply and may affect eligibility.

Applicants must submit a Temporary License Application. Applications are subject to ABC Board approval.

Valid Period and Fees

Licenses are valid for one (1) to four (4) days subject to approval.
