How do I file a protest?

All oppositions must be in writing and filed with the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board no later than the 15th calendar day prior to the roll call hearing. The written opposition must clearly reference at least one appropriateness standard which includes: adverse impact on the peace, order, and quiet of the neighborhood; adverse impact on the residential parking and vehicular and pedestrian safety in the neighborhood; adverse impact on real property values; and over concentration of liquor establishments. The letter must be signed by the protestants and include each protestant's full address. The letter of protest should be sent to:
