DC Residents 
DC residents may apply for patient registration to be eligible to purchase cannabis from any of DC’s licensed retailers. Upon submission of an application, applicants receive a temporary digital registration that allows them to purchase cannabis for up to 30-days while their application is under review. 
 

Non-DC Residents 
Non-DC residents may purchase medical cannabis from a licensed retailer in DC by applying for a temporary registration or by presenting their patient registration from a U.S. state or territory that extends reciprocity.
